With the Shop Boyz having Party Like A Rockstar and R. Kelly having a song on his album called Rockstar, I think Snoop's version on The Big Squeeze is the best one. Definitely the best beat and they paid homage to alot of rock groups on theirs. I am surprised he has not dropped it as a single with how popular the other song is. It's funny because Snoop's version is easily the oldest and the first one of its kind.
I had messaged Bad Lucc before about the group maybe using that song as the next single, I like it a lot better than these other "rockstar" songs coming out.

I had put up the thread because my little cousins are in town and they keep listening to the Shop Boyz version. I let them check out this version Snoop had and they liked it. They thought Snoop was copying but this one has been out since early February. I think it would get some airplay if they dropped it, but to most it would look like he biting the song from the Shop Boyz.
If people just watch BET and MTV all day, yeah it would seem to be the "first" song like that. I thought it was cool they would give Snoop's version their ear for a minute and they liked it. I ain't Don Kinging the song for Snoop but I know they will tell all their friends about it and they definitely like his version better.
