I honestly could not get into this cd for the life of me

Not even much of the west coast disc...C-Walk, Ask Yourself a Question & We Can Freak It are all classic Kurupt songs, but nothing more than medicore for the rest of teh west disc...And the east disc was pretty wack as well, with about 3 cool tracks

easily kurupt's worst album

exactly what I thought when I heard it almost 10 years ago but when I put it back in recently I found out that lyrically this is Gotti spitting with that 90's flow and heat that he hasn't shown since '99

I think the concept was fresh at the time, but it sounded so rushed. If he would have took his time on that East Coast disc and got some big name producers like a Pete Rock or Premier from the East at the time I think it would have been a str8 classic. It seemed like the quality of rhymes decreased with the beats on that disc. Unless he was with another dope rapper like Buckshot to insipre him a little bit.

Aww shit, I found the west coast disc. Bangin that C-Walk song right now.  8) Fresh is dope as fuck also.

Game on the east disc was on some lyrical shit also.

I think this is one of those albums where people appreciate it more years later when comparing it to the present day Kurupt

True. Present Day Kurupt is sounding alot better though. He had some nice verses on that Tangled Thoughts album. I have been bumping that again for the past week or so.

no problem homie, '98 was an underrated year for West Coast rap, I'm gonna bump Cube's War Disc this weekend, another overlooked album
