im gonna get the album when it comes out

Ill give it a listen first just incase im reeeealy disapointed but if its anywhere close to a 6 on 10 ill buy it too support Quik and hope he finaly gets some props in the rap game all across not just on the west.

To me its a shame he had to go this route to do it tho.
Even one of my boys who had no idea he knew who Quik was reconised.

Fixxers will probably sell like 60-100k the first week and in the end if there really lucky they might hit Gold, but i doubt it, there gonna get stuck at 425-450 in the end!!!

Nah thats too little..
trust Interscope know's what theyre doing.. i got faith in this..
i mean what im sayin is.. if they can drop 2 hott singles on the radio than this album will sell..
Trust.. but i know for a fact itll be just more than 2 hott singles.. i got a good feelin it's gonna have a new nice vibe overall.. to be succesful you gotta change and thats what im excited about..
i mean we havent even heard Quik put any touches on the tracks yet.. only AMG.. so i mean.. like i said before..
for all we know.. this album could be a Classic.. we just never know until it drops..

As I said before....I don't think it's a completely HORRIBLE song, and as a club song, it is decent to me, and gets great reaction with some people. Some people on the West like it just because it's Quik, while some people in the south like it because it sounds like something they would make. However, even as an attempt to make a down south song, it doesn't have that energy that "Wipe me down" "White girl" "Rock star" and the other down south hits have.

I am not even asking Quik to make "played out G-Funk" beats...but Jazz and Soul music are basically timeless, and much of his work that was inspired by this music is timeless as well. G-Funk is definitely played out...but much of Quik's music is not even G-Funk. LMFAO that people think anything that has a strong musical structure is "G-Funk".

Well To be honest, to me any track that has a heavy Bass lines, that bounces or changes, is considered to have a little bit of G-Funk, that is arguably!!

But well Put!!

The Fixxers are trash straight up... and like the homie said, soul music and jazz music is timeless there is always a way to twist it to make it sound fresh and new, wich was the case with Quik sound,

and that's the truth... we need records that we can still play in 2020.
