Well back to more important shit. Tanj is on to something with that Glasses/Bishop scenario. The last 2 mcs I remember both dropping tracks together like that was Xzibit and Snoop Dogg.

My thought is kinda this, we haven't seen a fat raspy rapper blow up off themselves since before MTV got up int he asscrack of every celebrity you know?

In other words, when Big Pun and B.I.G. were blowing up....it was more about how dope your single and your flow was...now it's how high the ratings were on your appearance on 'cribs' and who you're dating etc.....much more reliant on sex selling than ever, more image driven than ever...I hate to say it, but a fat cat has not blown up in music since the advent of video OVER radio outside of ruben studdard.

and there's alot of talented big people, i wish i could see another way for a cat like Glasses to blow you know?

Real Spit T. I don't even know anymore what listeners or record labels want anymore. All I know is he needs a single with HEAVY radio and video play and the album itself will have to have some shelf life on the charts to do numbers. As for the quality of the record we will have to wait and see.

snoop's shtick is that crazy smooth voice, he had ultimate mic charisma.

listen to eminem, his style is mad recognizable. voice, charisma, shtick. You have to stand out, period. and so many of these west coast cats got it twisted occupying their time trying to prove to the rest of the west coast that they're so hood and gangsta that it's not at all relatable to the rest of the country.

Bishop had the right idea, but you can tell that he's more lyrical than say voice-wise charismatic and him and dre are working on that.

Though i will add, Snoop has a lot of charisma and Charm!
Plus he has lyrics to back him up,regardless of what critics and Naysayers will say!!

Hopefully soon enuff all these Other New WC Cats will develop a style that's truly theirs!

and that's a given that snoop has his own charisma, but he's not a new artist feel? we need new cats to have that kind of captivating personality.
