Anyone good at Css??
« on: July 23, 2007, 11:30:36 AM »
I am trying to make a myspace background fit completly onto the height and width of my screen, just like a wallpaper really, but I am struggling with it.  Anyone have any ideas?

So far I have got:

body {
  background-color:000000;
  background-image:url('http://adorocinema.cidadeinternet.com.br/filmes/top-gun/top-gun-poster06.jpg')
}

But I need some more code to make the picture stretch the whole way vertically and horizontally?  Any help?

Cheers

Do you want to stretch or tile?

To stretch, you have to do repeat-x or repeat-y to the background: tag.

I'm not sure if you can stretch a background image in CSS. Are you sure you want to do that, the image will look distorted. You can resize the image and make it a background
