You know this is a pretty decent release... I had NO expectations for it at all, but it wasn't that bad. I think the major disappointment for me on it was the "Hail Mary (Rock Mix)", I just don't think Pac's acapella matched the beat at all. Other than that I was pleasantly surprised. One thing that surprised me was the amount of work Kurupt put in on this one. At least these remixes were featuring someone who actually KNEW Pac. I can say the same thing about the Outlawz, very solid verses. I think the beat for "Wanted Dead Or Alive" was insane, real old school classic west coast! What really kept me listening to this album was that they really sounded like REMIXES, some beats were pretty much the same, but twisted a little bit, an example being "Got My Mind Made Up". It keeps the classic feeling to the track, but new elements refresh the sound. People should not sleep on this one, totally different experience than the first volume released on Death Row.
