Man Falls To His Death At Bad Azz Release Party
« on: August 02, 2001, 11:49:25 AM »
Queens, New York, resident Robert Lewis, 31, fell to his death at an album-release party for West Coast rapper Bad Azz early Wednesday morning (August 1). The party took place at New York's Pier 63, an outdoor venue situated on the Hudson River. Witnesses told cops that Lewis appeared drunk before he fell from the pier at about 1:30 a.m. ET. Two men jumped in the water to pull Lewis out, but he was pronounced dead when he arrived at Manhattan's St. Vincent's Hospital. According to the New York Post, an autopsy revealed that Lewis died of a broken neck, which likely occurred when he struck his head on the pier.
Bad Azz was in New York to celebrate the release of his sophomore set, Personal Business, which is currently Number 108 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart after peaking at Number 59. Some of the featured guests on Personal Business include Ice Cube, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, Suga Free, Ras Kass, RBX, and Busta Rhymes.

It's all because he released "Wrong Idea" as his first single....Fuccin dumbass...He shoulda' released "West Coast Plantation" (Which didnt make the album), Money 2 Fold 9Which is a re-make of the OG), or Streetz Illustrated...They all woulda' sold more than "Wrong Idea"...It's all because everyone who likes the song "Wrong Idea' already have Snoops album so they say, "Fucc it"...And sticc with Snoops album...
