indeed i'd rather see records of the highest noise decibels recorded in stadiums that would be far more telling(but then even that could be skewed by ratio of attendance in each stadium)

i tryed finding an answer on ask.com but if i posted what i found you'd think i was being byist 8)

theres only one cup we're interested in...i think we now have a good oppotunity...man u are looking tired while were the in form team atm...i honestly cant see being out the CL affecting the players confidence either due to the manner we went out...

im getting "brave" cause we got four goals against chelsea and utd on their own turf....hit madrid for 4 and smashed five past villa as well as putting 4 past blackburn not bad for a "boring" "negative" side most goals in the league again this year by the look of things

and the sig's tongue in cheek...still couldnt see that not being highlighted by the media if liverpool had spent that on somebody ;D

Most goals in the league ? We scored 80 to your 67 in the premier league anyway it doesnt actually matter how many goals you score you only get 3 points !

i dont know where you get 90 mil from as we havent even bought Tevez. I know what you mean about the media not highligting things. Such as the below facts, everyone talks about united spending money but fail to mention how benitez has spent more than fergie

The table below represents the clubs net spend per season from the beginning of season 04/05 to date. This was the season that Rapha Benitez became Liverpool manager. Purchases is the total spent on buying players, sold is the total received from the sale of players and Nett equals the Purchased minus Sold giving a total of the money spend on players.

The per season column gives an average of the money spend in each season in the corresponding period season 04/05 to date

 # Net Spend 04 - 09 Purchased Sold Nett Per Season

 1 Chelsea £248,450,000 £117,300,000 £131,150,000 £26,230,000
 2 Manchester City £171,020,000 £49,900,000 £121,120,000 £24,224,000
 3 Liverpool £212,490,000 £102,030,000 £110,460,000 £22,092,000
 4 Tottenham £235,500,000 £137,250,000 £98,250,000 £19,650,000
 5 Manchester United £169,450,000 £76,050,000 £93,400,000 £18,680,000
 6 Aston Villa £95,150,000 £21,255,000 £73,895,000 £14,779,000
 9 Sunderland £80,580,000 £11,650,000 £68,930,000 £13,786,000
 7 Newcastle £120,750,000 £83,400,000 £37,350,000 £7,470,000
 8 Middlesborough £62,200,000 £32,500,000 £29,700,000 £5,940,000
 10 Everton £80,100,000 £56,200,000 £23,900,000 £4,780,000
 12 Arsenal £102,050,000 £81,720,000 £20,330,000 £4,066,000
 11 Portsmouth £85,200,000 £71,010,000 £14,190,000 £2,838,000
 13 West Ham £75,145,000 £61,625,000 £13,520,000 £2,704,000
 14 Blackburn Rovers £36,100,000 £36,290,000 -£190,000 -£38,000

but fail to mention how benitez has spent more than fergie

he hasnt though has he??...unless fergie scrapped his whole team in 04-05 and swopped them for a few decent players and a load of dodgy french & senagalese youngsters your conviently forgetting Fergie had a CL winning team on his hands as well as one that challenged for the prem consistently...guessing 04/05's after you bought ferdinand veron and RVD as well...i could also point out ferguson pretty much doubled dalgish spending when he was playing catch-up still didnt get close to him until dalglish re-signed and souness came in

could be we'll have to wait til fergie retires...but u gave me no answer as to why i shouldnt be confident given our form?...u merely latched on to the part u though u could disprove(only to botch it)

two draws(city/tottenham & arsenal) an Utd will have botched it as well 8)

If you want to go back to when the prem league has started we have spent 11 mil  more than you, hardly a huge amount yet liverpool fans love to portray themselves as oliver twist working with mere scraps. We have even recouped more money than you in the same period.

Net Spend 92 - 09 Purchased Sold Nett Per Season

 1 Chelsea £538,690,000 £185,750,000 £352,940,000 £20,761,176
 2 Liverpool £380,115,000 £177,670,000 £202,445,000 £11,908,529
 3 Manchester United £391,150,000 £190,565,000 £200,585,000 £11,799,118

As to why im not worried about your form, i cant see you winning all your remaining games which you basically will have to do and also hope we make further slip ups. Which is of course is possible but its just as likely you will do the same.

but you said benitez has spent more than fergie did you not?? so by your own figures

Manchester United(Ferguson) £391,150,000 £190,565,000 £200,585,000 £11,799,118

Liverpool (Benitez) £212,490,000 £102,030,000 £110,460,000 £22,092,000

so benitez hasnt spent more than Fergie so that statement is incorrect FACT!!

and i'd be the first to admit souness through to houiller we bought poorly which is the main reason i dont understand the rafa bashin we have the best time ive seen in my lifetime and if utd do win it will be because we drew 1 or 2 too many games...big difference to tryna scrape for fourth place...and i didnt say u outspent ouse once dalglish left im sayin "when fergie was trynin to knock uf off our f'in perch" he spent double which he needed to because WE WERE BUILDING ON SUCCESS its not difficult to comprehend...plus we arent the only ones spending
