I can't believe Rafa has not made the best out of players like Lucas and Babel. So much talent, wasted.

And lol, you sure described many of them signings as fantastic.

lol didnt actually read it then?oh and i didnt write it

and leggy why is it when something is pro-rafa its biase yet we can run around saying rafa has spent 200mill with out taking into account what hes recouped, the rebuilding off a squad, the value of the current squad as opposed to the one he inherited and the uninformed/neutrals take it as gospel

i wonder how much city spurs and chelsea have spent/recouped in the same period ::)

So why would you post it like you're the author. Not giving any source. Give credit where credit is due..  :-X

Wolves vs Arsenal tomorrow. If we keep it down to 0-2 that'll be respectable, anything more and I'll be one of the fans they show crying at the end of the game lol.

Who knows? We could sneak a result from a long throw, but the current generation of Arsenal players seem to be reaching their potential as a team and looking very dangerous.

Pretty much blows away the theory that benitez has no money where as in fact only 3 teams have spent more than benitez and nett per season liverpool are the third highest spenders behind city and chelsea.

Also since the premier league began liverpool are the thrid highest nett spending side per season and only chelsea have spent more on players than liverpool in the whole period.

Pretty much blows away the theory that benitez has no money where as in fact only 3 teams have spent more than benitez and nett per season liverpool are the third highest spenders behind city and chelsea.

theres a reason they support utd after all ::)

No argument here mate, just putting the "facts" out there, its difficult to argue when the "facts" dont suit your argument.

Pretty much blows away the theory that benitez has no money where as in fact only 3 teams have spent more than benitez and nett per season liverpool are the third highest spenders behind city and chelsea.

Also since the premier league began liverpool are the thrid highest nett spending side per season and only chelsea have spent more on players than liverpool in the whole period.

the facts do support my arguement i said benitez hasnt wasted money and is a top manager look at our net spend the last 3 seasons is that really what a title contending side needs to be spending?

plus our average under benitez is actually 16mill as broken down in the facts i posted lol

My thoughts exactly, but whenever I say we are going to win, we never do. Hopefully my negativeness will lead to a win instead. I just hope Scholes doesn't start. I don't think he's cut out for these type of games anymore. He should be saved for European matches where the pace is slower and for the lesser teams in the league.

im not arguing with united fans about football anymore

theres a reason they support utd after all ::)

No argument here mate, just putting the "facts" out there, its difficult to argue when the "facts" dont suit your argument.

the facts do support my arguement i said benitez hasnt wasted money and is a top manager look at our net spend the last 3 seasons is that really what a title contending side needs to be spending?

plus our average under benitez is actually 16mill as broken down in the facts i posted lol

Only two teams dont have to balance there books city and chelsea so you wont be able to match them in terms of spending.

Out of all the other sides who books need to be balanced Benitez has out spent them all in total purchases and nett per season (bar spurs depending on if the figure is 16 or 18 mil).  So id say they are spending what is needed to produce a title challenge.

Once again the problem isnt money but how benitez spends it and deals with the players he has.

Take the torres situation, he is having to nurse him through the season as he has no viable option even though he has had at his dispense robbie keane, crouch and bellamy. Then he has the option to pick up Owen for nothing and doesnt because he didnt think owen would want to sit on the bench. Owen probably would have paid liverpool to sit on the bench, instead of keeping the above he is now left with n gog and voronin who would struggle to get into the starting line up at 75% of the clubs in the premier legue.

This summer he spends 18 mil on a full back, who cant defend, when clearly a striker is needed. Add to the fact that he spends the summer before desperatly trying to sell alonso to buy an inferior player in Barry and then spends this summer begging him to stay only to replace him with someone who is injured and has had a chequered injury past to be polite. If Benitez hadnt treated Alonso like a piece of crap he would still be there.

Vast amounts of money spent and no squad built even though last season Liverpool had the largest squad (number wise) in the league.

Not too optimistic about tmw, defensivly we are looking shambolic and if ferguson doesnt start with carrick, anderson and fletcher i can see us getting over run.

My thoughts exactly, but whenever I say we are going to win, we never do. Hopefully my negativeness will lead to a win instead. I just hope Scholes doesn't start. I don't think he's cut out for these type of games anymore. He should be saved for European matches where the pace is slower and for the lesser teams in the league.

when he has time on the ball he can spray it around beautifully, but once closed down isnt quick enough to get away and doesnt have the legs to close down opposition players.

"My greatest challenge is not what's happening at the moment, my greatest challenge was knocking Liverpool right off their fucking perch. And you can print that." Alex Ferguson

Can't believe we're going away with nothing. We were much the better team. No way should it of been a free kick. I said to myself before the free kick was taken that it was going in. I just knew it.

if ferguson doesnt start with carrick, anderson and fletcher i can see us getting over run.

You was right about this. We coped with Chelsea pretty easily the whole match.

Of course it can, i hate bringing out this particular cliche, but only someone very new to the game of football would write off Utd before Christmas.

Fletcher & Anderson seem to form quite a good midfield, they both played against City as well didn;t they?
