Barca was far from owning Real. If Ronaldo hadn't fucked up a 100% chance things would be different. Real was just in the momentum and Barca was nowhere to be seen for about 20 minutes and then Ronaldo didn't score and things changed. ALKMAAR- Ronald Koeman has left AZ with immediate effect. Koeman has reached an amicable agreement with the club over the termination of his contract, following a board meeting.

The search for a new manager has already started and while that continues the assistant coaches will take charge of the team on a temporary basis. AZ also part company with assistant coach Tonny Bruins Slot.

Dutch Super Cup
Ronald Koeman had been in charge of AZ since 12 June. The Alkmaar outfit won the Dutch Super Cup but failed to qualify for the next round of the Champions League. AZ are currently lying sixth in the Dutch league. Koeman’s contract with AZ was to expire in the summer of 2011.
