So because of my bad reading skills, I missed that you are not even referring to the semi-final in any way whatsoever, despite posting after the match and using the expression "at this point"?
Plus, you're talking about the United games, saying they picked up their game, but "apart from that"<- that can very well mean that the rest of the sentence is not referring to the United games, but to the rest of the CL season.
