Not quite as comfortable as last week but was still pretty easy. I was fearing the worst before the match with that line-up but Schalke really are an average side with an absolute legend leading the line and with one of the best keeper's in the world (went down a bit in my estimation after tonights match) at the back. It was a chance for some of our fringe players to shine and they didn't disappoint. Gibson once good for once, as was Anderson who is very hit and miss. Valencia has been amazing since he returned. Its as if he's never been away. Not really the best way to prepare for a final against Barca (an easy win) but I think that we are the side with the best chance of beating them. If Arsenal can, then so can United.

Liked a fact stated by Clive Tyldesley during the match that Scholes is the most booked player in the history of the Champions League and it really isn't surprising.

So will Manchester try to fight for possession of the ball vs Barca?  Rooney seems will be a better role in this game than that final vs Barca of a couple years ago.

Mourinho is right in my books. The refs favor Barca so much it's unreal. It seems like they're always playing a man up   The red cards Van Persie & Pepe received vs Barca were absolutely ridiculous.

Heck, without that BS card Van Persie got, I don't think Barca would have got past them

So United did manage to more or less win the title with that midfield. What an accomplishment by Fergie. No other manager would of won the title with that squad of his.

So true. The whole team is more or less average. Yet they've won the league and are in the finals of CL. Crazy.

I guess Fergie's demands brings out the best in the team. Park is a machine, he just doesn't stop running. Vidic is a rock at the back, Van Der Sar, irreplaceable. Rooney, doesn't stop working. Basically the team is dedicated to the cause, unlike our neighbours whose players are just there for the money.
