O.C. has never really been known for it's Gangs beyond the White Supremacists... That's for real. I guess the Blacks and Latinos are trying to make a name for themselves now, but I really never heard about the O.C. being that type of area beyond lets say Santa Ana. The first I heard someone call Anaheim "AnaCrime" I laughed my ass off. Out here in the SGV, you never had to prove yourself like that. It was more like "I'm from Azusa..." "I'm from Monte," "I'm from Northside Bolen..." And people knew already. Like I really laugh when muthafuckas from the O.C. call La Habra ghetto. I was fucking some bitch out there and shit told she lived in "Guadalahabra." That shit was funny to me. Told me that all her O.C. buddies call it that cuz its ghetto. But La Habra was nice to me. Brea is nice to me. Santa Ana, Anaheim... these places are nice to me.

the valley that place is nice to me, Pasedena, that place is nice to me. Brea??? This fool aint from around here huh? You cant put anaheim, santa ana and brea in the same sentence. Listen it's DA ANAZ=Santa Ana+Anaheim these 2 cities move nothing like anything else in O.C. Snoop knows Santa Ana streets are "Crazy"! If you a reporter let MASH, B-Red for the bread and B.H. da Great be your tour guide. I'll show you the nice side and the not so nice. And you will be straight because you are my guest. Nothing fake or nice about it here homie. This is real life shit. I'm not putting extra on it I'm just telling you the truth. It goes down and it safe like you think. when you on the sidelines everything is hunky dory but when you on the front line it goes down. I've moved passed all that bullshit but it still exist. Harbor and Beach Blvd. Been the blade since the 70's, Santa Ana had the Black History parade going since the 80's and now they do the multiculteral parade. Ever heard of Light Shade of Brown. Ever heard of Bristol? Beach Blvd? Even the palace back in the day down the street from Knotts where the used to do studio city. Niccas from all over would come and the clubs we get shoot up and shut down. The Boogie to many shootings, shut down. This is all real shit. All the niccas sitting in the pen will tell you that. You SGV arent a street cat (no offense) cuz if you was you would know. Sureno's call meetings out here and parks be so flooded. It goes down homie don't sleep. But I guess I can show better than I can tell you. Make sure you check the link at the beggining of this thread and hit me up if you evey want a tour of what we talking bout. This is my life.

County, but not from the REAL L.A.!!!" Homies from L.A. Know whats up with S.A., so go ask your homies about S.A., we been in the papers, what about you??? I got love for S.G.V., but don't call out my county like we punks!!!!! I mean Snapper came from the S.G.V., so kick back!!!

Mash... When did I say I was street? I don't think I've ever once said that about myself. I don't have to label myself anything. I am what I am. I know my surroundings. According to you I shouldn't put Anaheim and Santa Ana in the same sentence as Brea, but I do. Those are nice places to me. Sorry that I feel that way, but I'm not a shook type of dude.

Dave... I never said O.C. was punks. As a matter of fact I said this: "Just like with anywhere I'm sure you can get your head busted in the OC" You can go ahead and calm down now.

Here's the thing, I'm not out here making posts talking about "Oh people need to respect the S.G.V. cuz its gangsta, it's this and it's that." When you do that you're saying something about yourself: You are not confident. Why do you have to prove yourself? Orange County is more than Santa Ana and Anaheim, there's a slew of cities in the O.C. that are extremely nice, face it, that's where you're from. Let people think what they want about your area if you know the "truth." I think the O.C. is nice, big deal. Let me get caught slipping out there one day and then I'll change my perspective. Until then it's just a great place I'd bring my girl to anytime. I'm not hating, I'm not calling you dudes punks, I'm just stating what I feel.

____EDIT_____

So you guys feel better, I say the same thing about West Covina. I laugh when people tell me West Covina is hood. Although it has Gangs (West Covina 13, Neighborhood Crips), that doesn't make it hood to me. West Covina is a very nice city at the end of the day. I have never had a problem walking up and down West Covina at any time, day or night. But people swear to me that it's hood there. Don't feel too bad O.C., I do the same thing to my area too.

First off I meant no disrespect by saying you not street. And by no means does that make you better or less of a person. But I'm just giving real life shit. You cant change the truth homie. I'm speaking from the pespective of someone that grew up and is a product of DA ANAZ. You speaking from the outside looking in. This is the O.C. that I know right when you click that link. Like I said if you are a reporter let us show that other side so you can see where we are coming from instead of talking about it from a distance. You are invited. If you want the facts we can show you. We need exposure we are here too and we had to endure just like everybody else. I don't even know the other dude in this thread but he's from what I'm talking about so he's experienced and lived this too. Economics and race make the DA ANAZ different from the rest of O.C.

Sounds good. If I was a reporter for a brand that cared whether the O.C. streets were bout it, I'd take you up on your offer.

Dog as a reporter I'm trying to give you a scoop. I'm trying to show you the scene as far as music and what influences it. We trying to show the world some of what Cashius is talking about. Not Irvine but DA ANAZ. Yeah Cashius even speak about rolling throught DA ANAZ we are residents of what he's talking about. I'm not trying to prove nothing. Just to let folks know we here too. As an artist that dealt wit alot of this music shit. Fools showed me prejudice for years because of where I'm from. And you doing the same. I did collabs wit well know artist and got into arguments wit them cuz I wouldn't say I was from L.A. in the chorus of the song. If I said I was from L.A. how would L.A. take it? That fool aint even from here "he from Orange County" I'm not part of the machine where I can fabricate everything and get that pass cuz I got money behind me. My pass will come because I'm real. I don't perpatrate or pretend nothing. All you keep talking bout is street homie. It aint about that if anything like I said it's about economics and race. You speek but yet you don't know. I am a product of this shit. The homie B-Red that filmed and produce this is a former blood that did several years in the pen but is now changing up his life meaning he is now trying to build instead of being destructive. His older brother is never coming home, he's serving a life sentence now going on like 11 years. His little brother is fighthing life right now as we speak. This video was made to show that we can unify instead of having all of the division and war amongst a small community of folks. All Minorities homie. Also he wanted to show the music scene here, and show the older folks giving the youngsters a plea to change up how they doing things cuz all they doing now is spreading negativity. This project was meant to be something positive but you coming at me with your negativity. No need to be disrespectful homie. I'm being diplomatic. You obviously have no idea what goes on out here so you speak from an ignorant pespective. And it bothers me because you are part of the media.  as a reporter you are supposed to be non biased. But you obviously have a biased opinion. I'm just the messenger. You think I'm trying to prove something?? I have nothing to prove, I'm a grown ass man with a wife and a kid. That's the only people I got to prove anything too. It's not a joke and it's not a game. There are men behind this project not little boys. I'm just one voice of many. This is a movement going on right now. Whether you respect it or not. But when it's all said and done you will respect it as we get bigger by the day.

The one thing dissapointing about the video is that there were hardly any mexicans. As a homie growing up in SA(Santana) It's the home of the ESE'S!!! People wanting to say O.C. is all rich, come over hear with that L.A. hate on O.C. in SA and find out what happens. I've known real L.A, homies and they do try and clown O.C., but when you say you from Santa Ana, they say "That's different." I only speak on the mexican side of O.C. though, Santa Ana is damn near 90% Hispanic with a shit load of gangs. 1 thing people fail to realize is O.C. doesn't report a lot of crime in this county to justify the high pricing on homes, but people who own homes in Santa Ana bought them in the 60's and 70's, to ealy 80's when SA banging just started to pop!!! O.C. tries to keep the minorities in Santa Ana's neighboring cities to keep the nice areas white. You don't see the shootings on Bristol in Santa Ana when we go cruising, or this neighborhood is warring with that  one. Hell, I heard of a mexican dude that shot six homies in Fullerton and I didn't hear one thing on the news, and it was gang related!!! So unless you been out here, Don't hate on "DA ANAZ!!!" I support the movement, but let's be real, Tustin is not bad at all, only little parts, but O.C., Santa Ana & Anaheim, run by the Browns, but not hating, just need to support the movement.

FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW.. SANTA ANA AND ANAHEIM.. ARE THE MOST INFESTED GANG CITY'S OF O.C.... BUT U DONT HEAR US THOUGH... IT AINT BOUT MOTHERFUKKERS COMING OUT IN THE NEWS.. BUT IF U DONT BELIEVE IT.. JUST PASS TROUGH A COUPLE NEIGHBORHOODS AT DAYTIME OR NIGHT.. JUST TO SEE THE GHETTO STREETS.. WE WERE RAISED IN.... IT MIGHT LOOK NICE BUT WHEN THE ESSES COME OUT.... WITH SHOTGUN'S AND AK'S... DAMN.. U BETTER NOT BE STANDING.. THERE....

JUST TELL THE SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT... THEY JUST SPENDED. 1 MILLION OR MORE.. ON DETECTIVES AND GANG UNITS AROUND SANTA ANA.. ALONE..

I HEAR PEEPS TALKING BOUT WELL O.C IS NICE... YEAH DOGG.. CUZ MOST JUST COME HERE FOR A DAY... TRY LIVING HERE... GETTIN HIT UP EVERYDAY UR CAR'S GETTIN SHOT AND SHIT... MOTHERFUKKERS ON WALK BY'S... ITS CRAZY...

I WISH WE COULD CHANGE IT.. BUT POLITICS IN THE STREETS ITS A SERIOUS MATTER.. FOR ANY HOOOD  IN GENERAL... BUT WHAT CAN U DO..

PEACE TO THE HOMIES.. KEEP DOING WHAT UR DOING.. BRING BACK THAT GANGSTA SHIT..
SICK JACKEN

WITH THE GENERAL IMMOBILIZED
IT'S NO SURPRISE
THAT HIS BROTHER TOOK CONTROL OF THE REIGNS TO THE EMPIRE
HE DRANK HEAVILY TO DEAL WITH THE PAIN
AND WAS LOST IN A WORLD OF WOMEN, SIN, AND DARK FLAMES
IT WASN'T LONG 'TIL THE FLEET RESUMED
SICK DOGS IN THE TEMPLE WITH THE PRIEST OF BOOM
ENEMIES TO THE DUKE PREPARE TO MEET YOUR DOOM
AND FACE OFF WITH A STREET PLATOON!

Yeah.... every place has it's bad spots. It's the same with The Valley... people look at places like Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Woodland Hills, Granada Hills and other places that are really nice and expensive to live....

and then you have the other shoe on the foot.... the red-headed stepchild of the tax-payers services ...the statistic driver in the rising crime rates in L.A. County...

Places like Pacoima, Sun Valley, parts of North Hollywood, parts of Van Nuys, Canoga Park, Panorama City, North Hills...

These were the places were some of the first City Gang Injunctions took place, and where Police started barracading sections of streets with cement blocks to prevent get-a-ways.. Blythe Street in Panorama City is so bad that the Police have their own substation on the street. Vineland in Sun Valley is the first or one of the first street gangs to have Federal RICO indictments, the stuff that the government uses on the Italian Mafia...

Places have their nice spots and bad spots..... I would prefer having that nice house in Calabasas though.. :)
