Crooked I writing for Kurupt?

Man Tha Streetz is a dope ass album. I had to pop it back in the player after reading this thread. I hope his next solo can be something similar to that album. Step Up bangs in a system also.

I was listening to it on a 10 hour flight back to NY and Step Up bangs on the Ipod too , Daz and Battlecat came up with a gem of a beat and all 3 MC's just rip it to pieces, whole album is classic or as near classic as you can get

Yeah the album had a good flow to it. It stayed gangsta and lyrical throughout. And the beats= OMG My track in the ride is still Welcome Home. That shit KNOCKS! Something for everyone on that album IMO.

yeah your right about the flow, the sequencing of the tracks is just perfect, something you don't see alot with the current releases right now

It started lyrical and pretty much ended lyrical. Really only 1 bitch track. But this was the album Kurupt needed to drop after Kuruption. People always talking about a 2nd album slump and that album most def was not a flop or weak. IMO this is the blueprint along with Doggfather on how a DPGC member album should be set up and how it should sound.

Crooked was also the best rapper on the Wake Up Show anthem (with Planet Asia, Ras Kass, Ahmad etc. on it)

When Kurupt writes his verses, they are gems and possibly unfuckwitable. When he freestyles his shit, it's like a slot machine. it can be good, ok, awesome or just plain bad.

Not that it was any of his doing. I think as long as Snoop ain't down with him it won't happen. But to Crook's defense he can and has more than held his own on tracks for a while so if it happens cool if not that's cool also.

Kurupt dont need nobody to write for him he is a westcoast legend and maybe the best he spits fire and i bet if he wasnt from the west but from any other coast peole would be on his dick so hard like jay-z nas t.i eminem or anybody else
