Man I just tried to make a video out of one of my replays but that shit turns out kind of "laggy"... It seems as if my shitty pc canīt take the game and the video recording software at the same time. Iīll play around a bit with it though, wanted to show you guys some of my goals (not that theyīre special but w/e...)

Uhm, lol, I guess I need to check my "sources" before I post something like that. I just googled "PES 2008 PS2" and there are shitloads of hits and one that quotes the WE blog about what stadiums are in the PS2 version (which means that there will be a PS2 version - I would think.) I have no clue why I assumed that there will be no PS2 version. I am 100% sure though that I always read about PES7 being an nextgen exclusive. Maybe it has something do to with disappointing PES3 sales? Anyways.

If itīs true that it comes out on the PS2 the better, that way my homie will probably pick it up and we have a new PES version to play the ML in.

Yeah, Iīm gonna get it for PC once again and I have the feeling that I need a new one for it which will probably cost at least as much as a PS3. :/

Iīm playing PES since part 3 because before that I never heard about it but the moment I heard of PES3 I got it without ever playing it before and I am hooked ever since. Throughout the years though I always found it funny how there seems to be a "war" between PES and FIFA fans. FIFA fans were always negative towards PES cause they didnīt like the missing licenses and overall presentation deficit comapred to FIFA and blabla. PES fans, of course, thought that FIFA fans were idiots for playing a game with such a crappy gameplay. I mean I used to play FIFA too but simply because there wasnīt any alternative for me. Looking at the gameplay though it was a fucking disaster, it was more of an action game than a football simulation. I remember the FIFA games where there were those corner bugs. Where you knew beforehand that you were scoring a goal simply because there was a bug. I mean what is that shit? When Iīm playing against a friend then I want to win because Iīm better at the game not because Iīm better at abusing a bug. Whatever though. I havenīt played FIFA in years so to be fair I have to say I donīt know how the last parts used to be but PES always delivered and you know, never change a winning team. With that being said,

PES >>> FIFA by far.

I think the last FIFA I bought was 99. ISS Pro 98 had me pretty hooked, but from ISS Pro Evolution on the PS1 onwards I haven't needed anything else.

I will be getting the PS3 version.

Iīll try to take a screenshot of the development of some of my players. Itīs unreal to me. I even try to make a video of some of my replays but I dont know how yet. Not that I have shot some uber goals but yeah, Iīm proud of some.



EDIT: I just checked, Castillo is in my team but I hardly use him for whatever reason. He is not in my starting eleven but itīs good to have someone like him come in during the last 20 minutes of the game. Definitely one of the fastest in the game.

damn dude park hasnt progressed that well for me but sobis has also ive added mazilu to my attack and hes scored 10 goals in 20 sum games not bad for a sub also bakari kone is good to have as a sub as is leonardo of porto

Damn right. Fifa might have everything official but the gameplay is nowhere near as good. PES all the way!!
