Many artists have used this sample but if your leaning towards the West Coast maybe you're thinking of MC Eiht/Compton's Most Wanted. Eiht ripped this back in the day although for the life of me I can't remember the name of the song. For some reason I want to say it was one of the Quik disses, but I'm not sure about that at all. I just remember Eiht doin' his thing on it.
