It's funny how many times this beef pops up in a thread. I remember around the time of the beef I really did not think it garnered that much interest but I guess I was wrong. Basically Cypress had a song they thought would be good for Cube on the Friday soundtrack. Cube declined it, no diss or nothing but he liked the Throw Your Set In The Air song. Muggs and B-Real said that song was for TOB. Not uncommon as Cube also liked Lick A Shot and Cock The Hammer from Black Sunday and ended up Cypress used it. Cube did the Friday song and the hook was similar to Throw Your Set. B also said supposedly Cube used some music similar to his on Kausion's album as well and they took offense to this and dissed Cube.
^it was cool to get Mack & B-real on a track for the hustla's handbook album

We have not had one since Muggs was the co-executive producer of The Predator. Other than Cypress and the Soul Assassins, no one really had direct access to Muggs' beats like Cube did. I was a good team they had.
