Tonight in England's Carling Cup competition, two teams went in at half-time and a player has reportedly collapsed in the changing room. He left the ground conscious. The two managers agreed to abandon the game.

It's disgraceful how often this is occuring in Football.

This is getting crazy.

On point from Mtl 's M-0-s-T, really does make you think.

Why didn't they just take him out the game?

I'd imagine as a mark of respect, another player who has collapsed in the matter of days. A 16 y/o trainee for another English team collapsed and died in training just last week.

A player for Leicester City (a division one team here in England) collapsed at half time last night. His heart stopped twice. The match was abandoned and the player is stable in hospital.

no, it doesn't. Shit happens, you can' t avoid that. If one outta 1000 players has a heart attack, it's destiny.
