Sad news in the world of Hip Hop. Last week we lost brother Too Poetic and last night we lost Big Ed...

Wendy Day of the Rapcoalition broke the bad news.. Big Ed former No Limit soldier, passed away today in the hospital after a bout with cancer.  Ed, who is survived by his wife and two children, was one of the last artists to leave No Limit for non-payment of royalties.                                                         Last Fall, Ed released his own solo album through Select-O-Hits.

Damn..

Big Ed the assassin died? :(  I just saw a ad in the Source for his next CD and the dude was chiseled from granite..in other words he was in hella good shape.  Well none of that matters but its sad to hear he passed.  Hopefully P can write another classic "miss you" song for his fallen soldier.

Damn BIG ED n-da day when no limit use 2 have da game on lock n98 he dropped a tight ass cd THE ASSASION.well atleast I got dat CD 2 remember him at his best!!..rip BIG ED!!

bein near the bay area  i gotta chance to listen to him back in the day  when he was with TRU and no limit............  check out the joint    "Keep It Jumping"  thats Big Ed at his finest .........  shit , go buy the album TRU - "TRUE"    its a fuckin classic .......... Rest in Playa Pieces.

  Not King Kirk.... Marlon Brando (Marlond Bryan).

  He was walking out of the store with his girlfriend's younger brother... A drunk driver in a van jumped the curve... Marlon Brando reacted and pushed the lil boy out of the way and got hit himself. He left behind a 2-and-a-half-month-old baby boy.

  I've never heard anything from Sproty Theives besides that "Pigeons" song... still sucks how he died though. Especially having a new born kid who he aint gonna be able to see grow up.... that's fucked up.
