PYO Line Up With Aftermath (Audio & Video) - September 8, 2007 By : Eddie

Those who are part of our Forum Community as well as listeners to the PYO Radio show on Swurv Radio will already be aware of the recent alignment of the Put Yourself Out and Aftermath Records camps.

The new union has seen the release of a track featuring PYO's Shade Sheist and N.U.N.E. alongside Aftermath's Bishop Lamont and Stat Quo. The track, entitled "Lights Out" is being hailed as another street single building towards Bishop Lamont's highly anticipated debut album, "The Reformation," which as we reported last week is being readied for an early 2008 release.

Although streaming rips and DJ copies have been leaking out across outlets online, today we have the official release of that track courtesy of the people at PYO Entertainment. "Lights Out," which is produced by another Aftermath representer; Focus, can be downloaded below.

On the back of this new found affiliation the Put Yourself Out team recorded the most recent editon of their acclaimed video series From Yo Hood with Bishop Lamont. The feature, which is titled "Westcoast Reunion" features Shade Sheist, N.U.N.E., Bishop Lamont, Noni Spitz, Prime, Diverse and also Damizza - who, those of you who read yesterdays PYO In Japan update will know, recently met up with Shade Sheist and put to rest prior issues.

didn't even listen to it. bishop/dre/aftermath are just kind of a bad running joke to me now. they've let the fans down so much it's offensive.

I guess were all different though...but bty, this is the 2nd song in the last 2 weeks or so we have received that is to be on the reformation, and we have a release party announced...i think it's coming
