Official Heroes Season 2 Thread

The new season of Heroes started. I thought the ending of last season was crap, so hopefully this starts off wel.

Episode 1 is called 4 Months Later. 2 hour special

Volume II of Heroes begins as Peter, Nathan and Matt's fates are revealed. As everyone tries to move on following the showdown between Sylar and Peter, a new force emerges that's working against the heroes. H.R.G. relocates his family to California and tries to live with Claire under the radar, but that proves to be harder than expected. Meanwhile, Hiro finds himself in feudal Japan where he meets his hero Takezo Kensei. Elsewhere, twins Maya and Alejandro Herrera try to get into the U.S. by crossing the Mexican border in order to get help with their deadly abilities.

I literlaly just finished series one off about two days ago and although everyone I have spoken to who has seen the last episode of series one was dissapointed, I actually loved it.

Loved the way it all worked out and the way everyone was together. Just thought it was great. I actually sat there in shock for a bit. I cant wait to watch the next series. Hope it will introduce some dope new characters and abilities but more importantly I hope something happens 'like the bomb in series 1' which means all the Heroes have to united and fight together. Be good if they ended up forming like an X-Men type of group, but then again it could become too much like X-Men if that happened. I have atually already started to notice the similarities. I think that is something they should try and steer clear of.

Bring on series 2.

series 2 should be dope, zach quinto (who plays sylar) leaves the season halfway through to play spock in the new star trek, so i'm guessing there will be a new big bad for the 2nd half

i would like to see peter kick someones ass properly though, or a good fight between peter & sylar atleast

what really annonyed me about season 2 was the crappy fight at the end where basically none of the powers were used. An anti-climax considering the snippits we saw throughout the serier. Anyway i heard there were 2 new vilians in season 2 and 1 is that bogyman guy Molly can see

well, sylar will disappear so i dont think he'll be considered a villain

i'm guessing "the boogeyman" (if you read the pre-season interviews, you know who this is), then there is the person they're calling "kane", who has immortality, ability to control insects, etc which i'm guessing will turn out to be takezo kensei since ppl were saying "he's kane" "no no, hes takezo kensei.." when he was originally cast

Boring first up episode. It seem basically the same as season one, a vilian killing heroes hope this changes

Episode 2 "Lizards" Promo
With one person dead, Matt (Greg Grunberg) enlists some unlikely help as the attacks continue on people with abilities. Claire’s (Hayden Panettiere) efforts to hide her healing abilities at her new California high school are jeopardized by a fellow student with a secret of his own. Niki (Ali Larter) and Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey) leave Las Vegas in an attempt to start over. As part of his new job, Dr. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) must track down The Haitian (guest star Jimmy Jean-Louis). While crossing into Mexico, Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro’s (Shalim Ortiz) abilities prove to be a threat to those around them. Meanwhile, disappointed by his hero Kensei (David Anders), Hiro (Masi Oka) resolves to rectify any damage his presence in feudal Japan has done to history. And another lost Hero falls in with a gang of Irish gangsters with clues to his past.

Yea, I'm really getting tired of this show.. There were some good parts in the episode, but overall it was just the same old, same old..
Was it just me or did they handle the whole Hiro story horribly??

yeah i agree the Hiro story could have been done better. even though sylar is a "bad guy" i like his character. but peter petrelli is the man, i just wonder before he exploded, when he was on the ground was he close enough to, micah, dl, the rest of them to absorb their powers also.peace

yea i wondered that also, theres been no clear definition how close he needs to be!!

heroes is great, some people expect too much - shows cant have 100% fantastic episodes, story lines have to be built up and worked on so sometimes it can feel slow - thats why some people have turned their back on lost - with all these shows we've got to expect them to take years to draw out and give us a full picture, its frustrating but long term it'll be worthwhile!

this season has been decent so far, it'll be interesting to see where this peter story goes. also there is another future episode coming up on either episode 8 or 9, and then the next episode we find out who will be in the new regular cast

Yeah, i enjoyed that last episode, its slowly getting better, although i reckon they need to get Peter back in the fold quicker

As they get closer to the U.S., Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) make a grim discovery on the road.
