Ron Paul wants to get government out of your life.  He doesn't believe government should be allowed to dictate what a person can put in their body, or what a person chooses to do in their bedroom, or anything else that is outside the governments authority as indicated in the constitution.  Ron Paul does not believe that non-violent criminals should be filling up our prisons on drug charges.

Vote Ron Paul in 08' and end the war on drugs!

QT, let me ask you a question.  What's the quickest way to put a drug dealer out of business?  What's the quickest way to put a crack smokin prostitute out the game?  What's the quickest way to put low down, drug deal gone bad motherfuckers out the game?  LEGALIZE IT!

Legalization institutes self awareness and responsibility.  Fatty foods aren't illegal, Tobacco ain't illegal.  And guess what?  Those 2 things kill hundreds of thousands of people annually! I avoid both of those motherfuckers at all costs! 

Don't get it twisted like I advocate doing drugs, cuz I'm not.  I just believe that each individual should be given the inherent right of freedom to choose to do those things.  To think the government is holier than thou, and they are perfect w/ all the answers is very flawed in my opinion.  And when you look at the fallacy of the illegal nature compared to things that have been documented to kill us just as much, you realize how much of a joke the war on drugs is.

It's nothing more than a bureuacracy.  Its a way to keep people controlled.  It's a way for govt to make an easy buck.  Don't get it twisted.  Peace.

Weed is not illegal because the government is concerned about the well being of its population.  EVERYTHING always boils down to money.  Very few countries in the world have legalized weed.  The USA does not want to be known as a country that has legalized weed.  Its all about business.  We do so much international commerce and surely some countries would think twice about that if we legalized weed.  We are in significant amount of debt with China, and we rely on them so much.  I'm not an expert on China's culture, but I believe they are pretty strict, and really frown upon drugs.  If China stopped backing us financially, the US would be FUCKED!

Whether you guys want to believe it or not, the USA is not the powerhouse it once was.  We rely on countries a lot more than they rely on us these days.  People in China work 14 hour days at slave labor wages, making things that us fat lazy americans buy, meanwhile we sit on our lazy asses, and spend money we don't have.  Sooner or later, the Chinese government is going to find out that they are getting the short end of the stick here, and things will change.  And legalizing weed, will just bring that change a bit quicker.  Weed won't be legalized in the US for awhile.
