The thing with Joell is he isn't the best MC out there.  Hes decent, but he makes good music.  He isn't rapping about the same tired topics.  He's a breathe of fresh air at least to me.

totally agree , the thing i like about him is that he doesent worry about complex rhyme patterns he just says what he wants to say and it comes off sounding good.

He's like Mr.Cheeks back when the Lost Boyz were still a group.  Yea Cheeks wasn't the best emcee but he made great music and thats all that matters at the end of the day.  Then you got a guy like canibus, a great emcee but his music sucks for the most part.  It goes to show you that you don't have to be the amazing lyricist to make great music.  Though it doesn't hurt either lol.
