now that he refused the yanks offer, do you think he will be a manager on 08? if so, where?


it would be dope to see him with the dodgers.

thats a badass staff right there, but other than the yanks, i dont see any MLB team paying a manager THAT kind of dough (he got paid 7.5M in 07).

i dont think he's expecting to get that large wad of cash from any other team though.

with the Yanks, it was different because he'd accomplished a lot and while the offer was good, he felt that the management didn't appreciate him for what he's done.

with another team, he'll have to prove himself again so he can't expect an amount as big as the Yanks were paying him.

do you think he would accept something like 3 or 4M?  shiii, lou pinella had the 2nd highest salary in 07 with 3.5M. i think Torre would get 3.5 EASY.

i think he'd take anything 3.5M and up; as long as he got a multi-year deal with some room of flexibility in his contract based on his performance.
