What is the most SOLID D P G release?
« on: July 15, 2001, 08:46:24 AM »
Let's talk about the DPG shit released AFTER Snoop left Dead Hoe Wackords. When an album is solid it must have these: 1. Tight ass production strictly from tha LBC 2. Guest spots must contain all DPGz and no non-californians 3. Lyrics must be str8 gangsterish, absolutely no R&B

Now here's what I think:

1. G Funk Classics - u can't fuck with that

2. Duces and Trays - if it ain't goin 2x plat I hang myself

3. Tha Last Meal - dope as hell, but Eve and Mac Minista spoil it

4. Streetz Iz A Mutha - some gangsta ass sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeit

5. Dat Whoopty Woop - I love that guy

6. Daz RRG - not as good as could be

7. Space Boogie - this one could be on the 2nd place if not for that lollypop fred durst

8. No Limit Top Dogg - all them no limit clowns were not needed

9. Tha Eastsidaz 1st one - had some shitty tracks, others were good but sounded archaic

10.Daz RAW - should be among the 1st five, but no Snoop

11.DPG - it was not a 2nd Dogg Pound album, just a ANYTHING release, like LB 2 Fillmoe

12.Kuruption - CD1 is historical, but CD2 was a mistake

13.Dead Man Walkin - some day Snoop will bury yall Dead Hoes

14.Da Game Is To Be..................... what was the fuckin name? Help out master p!

I might be wrong, but u know I had to put some systemness in the whole thang. What do you maathaafukazz think?

So you ask us not to pick something with an R&B feel to it - then list Nate Dogg as your number 1?
And also you ask for Californians only when Kurupt ain't from California

It don't matter tho

I haven't heard Soopa, Boogie or Duces and Trays but I'd say Tha Streetz is number1

Safe

Yeah but Nate Dogg actually ain't R&B like Destiny's Child for example. He's G Funk.

By the way Nate Dogg is all over the singles charts right now providing hooks for everybody except Eminem's mom. Don't yall think he must seize the opportunity and get his album ready in a couple of months? I guess that should hit.
