I just had to watch this for my film class, and I was really surprised. It had a cool storyline, was shot really good, had some action, but made me think at the end..I recommend you check it out if you get a chance.

That place is weird. There are caves everywhere and one of the caves has weird electromagnetic properties and it feels like your tripping when you go inside.

Yup, that's because both movies are based on novels written by Dennis Lehane.
Went to see Gone Baby Gone yesterday...I was expecting a more than decent film, and I definitely got my money's worth. Ben Affleck has my respect from now on 8) Dude got taste: the screenplay, the way it was shot, the (lack of) music, the casting, etc...very, very well done.

And yes, that scene at the end really makes you think what YOU would do if you were in that position. That's the sign of a good movie. If the movie sucked, I wouldn't even bother thinking about it.

A little bit disappointed though that Michael K. Harris (Omar from The Wire) only had 2 scenes in the movie. But, in both scenes he did very good. I always find it nice to see actors from The Wire making it onto the big screen. Hopefully we'll get to see more of him. Dude got talent.
