i also don't understand why this dude is liked soo much

sure he got some sick lines every now and then, but his voice is horrible, flow is average as hell, and even lyrics are either hit or miss

for example: he got good verses but

he was wack on the new scarface single
wack on kanye's album
and from the snippet, sounded wack on jay's new shit

and that's all recently

Its pretty easy to explain why lil wayne is seen as been better than he is.

Wayne goes around saying he is the "best rapper alive", magazine's, tv and internet pick up on that and broadcast a shit load of interviews , quotes with him saying it. The hype starts to build, people get caught up in it.

Then throw him into some commercial r n b tracks the average mtv viewer see's it and is impressed as its a nice verse.

After that you then have the trl crowd saying he is the best and so on and the buzz continues to grow.

Other famous rappers throw him on tracks because he is "popular" and they think it will help them sell and the hype builds up even more

Wayne aint wack but he is far from the best but he has the hype behind.
