If the Lakers do trade Kobe to the Bulls
« on: October 28, 2007, 10:05:49 AM »
I know that Kobe don't want to go if Ben Wallace, Ben Gordon and Luol Deng ain't there. But if the Bulls wouldn't give them up, it ain't happening. What I think is we should get Deng and Gordon, and a few other youngers for Kobe and Odom.

Kobe wants to play with Ben Wallace & Luol Deng (and I'm guessing Kirk Hinrich). Why would he care about Ben Gordon? Kobe would be the shooting guard. It's be something like Gordon + Nocioni + Thomas + Fillers/Picks

Gordon + Nocioni + Thomas + Fillers/Picks

This < Howard + Terry + Hassell + Picks + Cash from a Laker perspective.

Being a Bulls fan, if we can somehow pull this trade off and still keep Deng, I will be happy. Selfolosha is coming into his own and is a better defender so he would be the x factor off the bench. But I doubt this trade will happen though.

Why would we want any of those Bulls scrubs?  :P
I'd rather have Kobe on the bench for the entire season than have anything to do
with those Bulls scrubs in an LA uniform.

I say managment just busts a cap in themself and Kobe aswell and finish this bullshit.
then we can get back to playing the GAME of BASKETBALL

Scrubs? Lol everyone listed is pretty much better than anyone on the Lakers (minus Kobe).

The Lakers want Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah. The Bulls say no, but I'd say throw in Odom... and this would be the depth charts. We should throw in Odom, I think he'd fit well with Wallace and Kobe.

Chicago Bulls:

PG: Kirk Hinrich, Chris Duhon
SG: Kobe Bryant, Thabo Sefolosha, JamesOn Curry
SF: Lamar Odom, Andres Nocioni, Adrian Griffin
PF: Joe Smith, Viktor Khryapa
C:  Ben Wallace, Aaron Gray

Los Angeles Lakers: (there will have to be major cuts made... lol)

PG: Derek Fisher, Jordan Farmar, Javaris Crittenton
SG: Ben Gordon, Maurice Evans, Sasha Vujacic
SF: Luol Deng, Luke Walton, Vladimir Radmanovic
PF: Tyrus Thomas, Joakim Noah, Brian Cook, Ronny Turiaf
C:  Kwame Brown, Andrew Bynum, Chris Mihm, Larry Turner

Whatever team Kobe ends up with, he will be int he exact same situation.
And it look's like thing's are beyond repair here in LA...

I see the fan's booing Kobe from this point on.
(I hope we don't fuck with those Bulls  tho..)

Maybe i don't understand shit about basketball (it's possible), but how is this team so much better than today's Lakers to force the team captain and Lakers leader Kobe Bryant to request a trade to go playing there? The only real big difference i see is that the Bulls play in the East, while the Lakers play in the West. So basically it's Kobe bitching and chosing the easier way to reach the final. If Kobe does something like that he loose all my respect in a minute.

^I agree, they have a way better PG and more experience, that's about it though. He should just come to Dallas and kill the game with Dirk. How is the Bulls owner going to pay for his and Odom's contract in the first place? He also has a trade-kicker.

See man, if Kobe goes hard on Buss and he forces him to trade him to go playing with Duncan, or Dirk, or LeBron, or i don't know.. in a good team anyway, then i'll accept it. I mean he's just being tired of playing in a young team, he ain't a good team leader but he wants to win. He's a winner, and we can't give him the best team in the league at the moment. He goes, i stay. But if he makes all this noise to end up in that team, or in a team who ain't better than today's Lakers............

I think this Bulls team would be better than the current Laker team for 2 reasons. Better center. Also they will play in the East so it will be easier to go further in the playoffs. Also, Wallace/Odom/Bryant/Smith are on win today stage of their careers. So it would be a good fit. As for the Lakers, they'd get even younger, with promising players that is kept together, could win in a few years.

Ok, but move that team to the West and you have the 5th seed, nothing better. So doing all this noise betraying your fans to go from the 7-8th seed to the 5th.. isn't something smart, imho. If you have to loose your credibility, do it for a real contender. That Bulls team have no chance of winning the title. C'mon.
