Yeah, I eat like crazy, but it does take some money, quite a bit. I train for about 3, 4 years and I went from 70kg to 95 kg.

If anyone can tell me what Bishop is talking about, I'll prop you for days  :-*

Well, you gotta learn to cook more instead of eating out.  Also, do you really think that using protein supplements is gonna save you money?  I dunno what prices are where you live, but whenever I buy Mega Whey (I still use it on some occasions), I pay about $60 USD for a box of 12 packets, each of which is supposed to be mixed with 10-mL of water.  That means in about two weeks, it gets used up.  I don't consider that a good deal, especially since it's supposed to be a SUPPLEMENT, which means you still gotta eat lots as well.  Most people I know who buy shit from GNC basically admit that they only do it cause they don't know much about nutrition and it saves them the trouble of having to learn...at the end of the day, it's all so overpriced that you sure as hell do NOT save much money.  And the folks at GNC know this, too...they just won't tell you that.

So, best bet...do your own cooking, and learn how to get the most out of your meals by combining ingredients from several different food groups.  Make yourself a large bowl of pasta and mix it with chicken as a lean protein source, for instance.  Also make sure you divide up your meals into something like 5 per day, and also take shits as little as possible.  Oh, yeah, and beef jerky is always a good snack (if they sell that where you live).  But really, bottom line is, EDUCATE yourself, don't just trust some over-the-counter nutritionist with your money, cause those people aren't your friends...they want you to buy their protein supplements so that they can take your money.

I'm training pretty hard right now (Brazilian jiujitsu, Muay Thai boxing, Weights), so first and foremost my nutrition is the most important thing!

Aside from regular meals my current supplement stack is:

Fish oil capsules (3 a day)
AST Multo Pro 32x (multi vitamin) 2 a day
Whey protein concentrate, 3 servings a day
Creatine - once a day
Superpump250 (Nitric oxide, for pre workout energy), only pre workout
BCAA's - pre and post workout only

Examples of my stack:

Every morning: Fish oil, protein shake, multi vitamin.

Pre workout:

1 hour before: Meal and (30g WPC) protein shake
1/2 and hour before workout: Super Pump250 (Nitric Oxide/creatine supplement), 5g BCAA's.

Post workout:

Immediately after i put the weight down for my last set: 80g of dextrose/maltodextrine + 10g creatine + 5g BCAA's
20 minutes later: Protein shake and big meal.
Currently Training at:

What makes you think its not healthy? Provided i keep my fats at a low, drink 3-4 litres of water a day im fine. I also get a blood test every 3 months to have my liver and kidney's checked out. So far so good.

Great results since starting the current stack for about 2 months.

nice how are your meals?

Meals are good, breakfast almost always consists of Oat Brits (pretty much just oats pressed into dry cake like rectangles), i eat these as they're high in carbs and calories.

if im going into university i'll pack a protein shake, and about 4 sandwhiches which i'll eat every 3 hours and i'll usually buy a snack at uni like another sandwhich or a meat pie (we eat those in australia a lot). After your 3rd sandwhich of the day it really gets boring. Then afterwards i'll get home and have dinner, usually steak, chicken breast or lamb chops with salad or veggies.

The sandwiches usually consist of: brown bread, lots of lettuce, cheese, and a heap of meat/tuna.

On non uni days if im going into the office, then i'll do the same but i'll buy a couple large sushi rolls to snack on in between my meals.

I aim mainly to keep my fats low, proteins high. I'm currently bulking so i get to eat more carbs :)

I understand ur opinion, the way im approaching it is:

- There are no long term effects or health issues concerned with BCAA (which are just proteins) consumption or whey protein consumption other than excess protein diets causing liver/kidney problems if you DONT consume enough water, which i do so i'm fine there.

- There are no long term effects of creatine consumption, there's been numerous studies on this i dont need to elaborate on the safety of creatine.

- Multi vitamins are fine, as are fish oil tablets.

- Carb powders like dextrose and maltodextrine are just simple sugars, theres no problems with sugar consumption as long as its not excessive, and provided i take it post workout my body will just absorb it. I dont have much sugar intake in my regular diet.

That only leaves the superpump250 (nitric oxide) supplement in question. This supplement has not been around for long enough to have independent studies done on it, so i cant comment on how the long term supplementation of this product will effect me. I wont wait tho, after i finish this bucket i'll stop it until there is further evidence of it being safe. But i must admit this product is great.

So if i take out the Nitric supplement, i'm pretty much taking safe products!

Don't worry, I definetly have my "eat healthy" game down. I eat a lot of meat, carbs, drink a lot of milk and water, lots of fruit and vegies. And I only take why protein and carb powder before and after my training, which I have 3x a week. So it's cheap and I have one pack for about 2 months.

Thanks for that link for Animal Pak, anybody has any personal experience with that, I never trust these sites that promote them.

Animal Pak is a multi-vitamin, if you look on www.bodybuilding.com you'll find the 3 most popular are the one im taking AST Multi pro 32x, Optimum Nutritions's Opti-Men and Animal Pak.

Undoubtedly the most popular is Animal Pak, how effective is it? I am not sure, its wayyyyyy too expensive for me to afford, however the ingredients in it are awesome, if you can afford it i'd try it out.

However looking at what you're currently taking, i'd opt for a cheaper multi, and get some more whey protein into you more regularly to sustain higher protein in ur diet, ur doing the right thing with the carb powders (restoring lost glycogen and getting insulin spike to carry nutrients), but if u only taking ur whey 3 times a week, if i were you i'd buy more whey so you can get more nutrients into you more regularly.
