Nah man i didnt lol, can u up it?
if you want to break it down in very general terms... Cube is to the West Coast what Nas is to the East... Snoop is to the West what Jay-Z is to the East. Cube is raw like Nas when it comes to conscious, political gangsta shit... sure they have a few radio-friendly joints, but not to the extent of Snoop & Jay... while Snoop & Jay have a ton more radio-friendly joints that have made them more appealing to the mainstream audiences over the years... and that doesn't include Snoop & Jay's guest appearances on R&B as well as other mainstream rapper's joints over the years... which further shows the distinction between Cube/Snoop & Nas/Jay in terms of star quality.

The funny thing is, I am not even counting his earlier work. Just his guest appearances, LNCL and whatever Raw Footage has to offer. Musically speaking if and I think it will he can top LNCL, I gotta give him the edge. People can talk that movie shit if they want to, but like Cube said on Dr. Frankenstein, And when I want to butter the toast/can't nobody see Ice Cube on no coast. i think u gotta count his earlier work 2 give him the edgeyea fuck the movie shit, that don't deny nor take way music qualityI mean just off of most current work. You have to give the edge to Snoop the past couple of years just on the strength of him dropping consistent material. Yeah he got a couple duds here and there but for the most part he has been numero uno. I'm saying just off of recent work. Even with Game 2 albums deep, I consider him up there also. well, let's come back to this thread after Raw Footage & Ego Trippin' drop... that way we can start @ 2006 since LNCL was Cube's 1st album since 2000... in which case i'd have to say that LNCL is a stellar album considering the 6 year lay off.LNCL > TBCTRF ?? Ego Trippin' I agree, but I am thinking Snoop's new one is going to be R&G pt 2 for some reason. Cube I think is going to raise the bar a little bit and say some things to stir up some controversy on this next one. But most def we will see come 2008.Cube is coming out at the perfect time too... he'll probably pick up where Nas leaves off on "Nigger"... since there is so much to touch on in terms of current events with the whole Michael Richards/Imus/Jena 6/Noose hangings, etc... and i'm all for it too... i hope the recent events lights a fire under Cube's ass and has him reverting back to his AMW, Death Certificate era... and i ain't gonna be mad at him for it either...

To take your point even further, although Snoop takes alot of slack for doing radio friendly tracks, Nas and Cube have taken alot of flack for tracks that are like that, but when they do it properly, it has great results. (You Owe Me and We Be Clubbin)i agree man... it looks out of context in sort of a "sell out" way for Cube & Nas to be doing radio-friendly joints... not to say that all radio joints are bad... those 2 tracks you listed are nice... but in actuality, i respect the rawness of Cube & Nas... yet i equally respect Snoop & Jay for what they do too... because Snoop & Jay are good at what they do, so kudos to them.
