Scott Hall, but that was his own fault. Good to very good worker. Great talker. Great personality. Amazing ability to get over. He just never wanted it bad enough. In WCW all he had to do was ask for a chance to run with the belt, but a lack of desire and a substance abuse problem kept it from happening. he was better than Nash in every category and Nash had the top belt in both Feds for a while.

I donīt know but to me Scott Hall never was "world championship material" but I donīt mean that in a negative way. I agree with everything you said about him but to me he was in the same league as Piper or DiBiase for example. Sure, they deserved a run but people like them were just over enough even without a title. Like Chris Benoit, whom I never saw as "world championship material" either, it was nice to see him win it but to me he was always that bad ass who belonged in the United States/Intercontinental/TV title scene.

In my opinion, having wrestlers like Hall, Piper, DiBiase, Benoit etc in the upper midcard just adds to the whole thing. It makes an organization just look better in general.

Anyways, did he deserve it? Yes.
Did they miss out on not giving him a world title run? Not really.

On the topic, in my opinion IRS was always pretty underrated. I just know him from his WWF days and I always had the feeling that people just saw the stupid gimmick in him but just watch the man wrestle and you can see how good he was at it. He should be a wrestling instructor.

D'Lo Brown has hella talent for a cat his size, I don't know why the wwe never pushed him hard.  His mic skills was coo and the strut was infamous lol.

D-Lo accidently dropped Droz and broke his neck during a house show match. Since then he dropped off in booking. It was a horrible accident, and D-Lo paid and Droz still can't walk.

didnt he get his euro x ic at the same time after all that happen?

I agree with most of the names thrown out in this thread. Lance Storm probably being the one who I always thought could have been awesome given more exposure. Not sure why the wwe slept on him so much :(

It's all base on fan reaction... Wrestlers that make the top tier are the one's that can speak on the mic. There is the exception to the rule but mostly the rule prevails..

Did they miss out on not putting the strap on him? No. The only true mistakes Vince could have made was keeping the belt of Hogan, Austin and maybe Rock. Every other champion could have been substituted by 10 other guys. In WCW Piper would have been a huge feud with Flair in 87 and 88 and Ted Bisbiase if treated with class would have been a great heel champ in any federation. I don't think you realize how much bigger a star someone like Piper was than HBK or Deisel. The only reason it wasn't shown was because Hogan was there and that guy was a phenomenon.

Scott Hall if pushed as Scott Hall in the WWF would have been a bigger draw than Diesel or HBK in that era, and in WCW he would have made a nice transition champ. He wasn't going to carry either company but he wouldn't nearly take it to the ground either like HBK and Nash almost did. People don't remember how close WWF was to going out of business in the HBK run and it was the Bret heel turn that gave it a boost and the Austin face turn that saved the company. Hall woud have been more credible a champ in '96 to the 16-35 year old male fans. 13 year old grls don't buy PPVs. But Vader would have been a much better choice as champ with Hall built to chase him in te main event. Of course I'd probably have Bret be the one to dethrone Vader rather than Hall.
