But still can't get how u & D-Nice brought up Doggfather 2 a comparable level

Doggfather 2 me sound classic compared 2 some of the albums he put out after it

I respect that,put the "sound" is so different that they can't be compared.

I personally am not comparing the 2, just giving my opinion on which one I like more and to be honest it is a tough choice for me.

But I give "Doggfather" more spins.

I really dig Tha Last Meal. He had alot potential singles that really could have made that album his best selling since his debut that he did not use (Go Away, Stacey Adams, Issues) I really thought Hennessey N Buddah would have been the PERFECT 1st single to capitalize on the whole Dre/Snoop collabo and it was during the Up In Smoke Tour. Dre also mixed the whole album sound the highs and mids and the bass was perfect on it. It also had a good share of solo tracks from Snoop, alot of guests but it sounded cohesive and not forced.

Ok,D-Nice thats a personal opinion and everybody is entitled to have one. I'm was just asking how these two "could" be compared since they sound so different and was released years apart.
It would make more sense if it was compared to either Doggystyle or The game is....,you understand what I mean.

I just took the thread as which album do you think is better. For example, I like Stillmatic more than Nastradamus from Nas. They are about 2-3 years apart, which is maybe a year less than Last Meal and Doggfather but I just think Stillmatic is a better album.

jk I respect all opinions as well, Doggfather was a dissapointment to me when I first bought in '96 because it wasn't what I was expecting but as time went on I began to enjoy the album and I can honestly say that its probably my second favorite Snoop album in that I can bump the whole record and not skip any joints can't say that with Last Meal but what I can say is that Kokane gave the album a cool feel to it and the Dre mixed the first half of the record so you know that sonically it was dope as hell
