Cotto-Mosley Fight
« on: November 11, 2007, 11:45:25 PM »
Did any of you catch the Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley fight last night? I didn't want to pay 45 bucks for it but I will probably watch it if HBO shows the replay next week. I've seen Cotto fight a few times and he is definitely a beast, I like his aggressive style. Any thoughts on who he fights next, they are rumoring it to be Mayweather. What do you guys think?

Great fuckin fight. Cotto is the next big thing in boxing. He's like Tyson minus the rapes, face tats, and cannibalism. Dude is like a pitbull in the ring, but he has a good chin and stamina. I just hope he doesn't shoot his load too quickly by going up against Mayweather within the next year. They need to stay away from each other and eventually build up a huge mega fight.

I didnt see the fight but i will next week when they re-air on HBO.I heard that it was a pretty tough fight and that they actually gave the victory to the real winner.Cotto is good and i would like him to face the winner of Maywheather/Hatton fight.

It could build more hype if they wait, but they only have so much time before they start fading away. I saw an article talking about how Shane Mosley is on the downside of his career because of his age, even though he fought a good fight. The draw of Mayweather and Cotto would be that they are both undefeated and in or near the primes of their careers. And who else would they have to fight besides each other? If they can each fight about one or two more fights before they go head-to-head, I think it would make it more exciting.
