the difference between england and scotland is that england fans stupidly believe that they have a given right to qualify and when it dont happen they turn on the team. Scotland on the other hand hope to qualify and the fans get behind the team to increase that possibilty.
To be fair, our fans at the game did get behind the team at the start of the second half and played a big part in us getting back to 2-2. They are perfectly entitled to boo at the end of the first half and at full time, as they have paid to see an England team put in a performance and it hasn't been forthcoming.I also don't believe for a second that our fans are the worst in the world, every nation gets on the back of their team if they are not performing well. For instance, Brazilian fans booed their side despite beating Uruguay 2-1 this week, because the performance was not what they expected from the team. They also constantly booed Ronaldinho and Robinho as they had bad games and that wasn't considered good enough.Even Scotland fans did the same under Berti Vogts when they would struggle to beat some European minnows at home, so this is certainly not something that is exclusive to England supporters.

If you pay 65 pound for a ticket to watch shite, then you can boo whoever you like, simple as.
