Headin to the UK for winter break!

Iv got some buddies overseas travelling europe...so when my xmas break starts ima head over for 3 weeks and meet up with them in London!  They're workin at the Maple Leaf pub right now and have a flat above it, (Its a canadian bar i think)

so anyone got some tips for while im over there?  my budget's pretty limited, but id like to see and drink as much as i can...  whats new years like over there?

i think after the exchange its  700 pounds,  but i dont have to pay for hostel or hotel
