Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - Strength & Loyalty
« on: November 30, 2007, 08:46:36 PM »
What did everyone think of this album?

imo, it was real hot but Wish brought it down. If you're a fan of Bone you should definitely check it out.. and if you're not, you might be surprised. Krayzie Bone is so underated.

Best songs:
I Tried
Flow Motion II
Bump in the Trunk (kray rips it)
Sounds the Same (so chill)
C-Town (chill, and lay kray and twista all rip it)
Streets (game and kray went off)
Never Forget Me (great hook, great verses... why wasnt this a single?)
Candy Paint

Worst songs:
Wind Blow (its aight)
So Good So Right (sounds cheesy)
Order My Steps (just not my vibe)

It's a shame interscope fucked Bone over in terms of song selection... kray and lay have been real vocal about how they wished they had more say in what songs were chosen. Just check this vid I made for clips of 20ish songs and see how much better this album could have been: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Xf8ej7X5e7I

I liked it. A few duds here and there but dope for the most part. Oh and congrats to them for winning a American Music Award for best rap group album.

Interscope released a CD-S for "Wind Blow" but Bone isn't going to shoot a video for it (they think its a bad single - and didn't even want the song on the album  :o)

A Str8 up dope album even without Bizzy, and I agree with the thread starter on the tracks the were hot and the ones that didn't leave too much of an impact. Two tracks that should have made the album was "Into the Future" which had a dope Flesh-n-Bone verse starting it off and that track "You & Me" when they speak on the Bizzy situation.

They went through it with Bizzy though when he refused to sign the deal with full surface/interscope
