Missouri and West VA both got knocked from their respective 1 and 2 spots. Unfortunately, this means that sucky Ohio State will get the 1 spot, but I'd rather see them with it then Mizzou and West Virginia...

It definitely is.... even the USC loss to Stanford which sucked donkey balls, just proved that nothing is certain this season. Any team can go down at any time and that makes each game important...

I think West Virginia vs. Missouri would have been exciting, just because the offenses are fun and Pat White (QB of W.V.) is ridiculous. But, I still think L.S.U. is the best in the nation, although not sure they deserve to go after losing to Arkansas just a week ago, and Ohio State gives me somebody to root against just because they didn't beat anyone and they were a joke last year. Illinois didn't deserve to be in the Rose Bowl, but hopefully they make it a good game.

also LSU was VERRRY close to having 4 losses in their column how does that make them the "2nd" best team in the nation??

lol like ohio had a tought one. i'm not saying that strength of schedule shouldn't matter because it should. but IMO waht weighs more is winning the games you're suppose to win. hawaii did that , ohio state didn't, they lost AT HOME to a lesser ranked team.

i'm not even trying to justify USC here and put them in the bowl game but i think it's wrong to overlook a team like hawaii when they did everything right. LSU, Ohio, USC,WV, ect....dropped the ball more than once......hawaii didn't. it's like this,  the chargers are probably playing int worst conference in football right now, but the NFL isn't going to eliminate them from the playoffs because of their strength of schedule didn't messure up to that of the AFC south. i don't know i think the whole BCS shit is ridiculous. College Football needs a December equivalant to March Madness.

I hear you... but Ohio State as much as I dislike them have proved that they can play with the better collegiate teams over the years. Let Hawaii do this again next year and then I will be more sympathetic to their aim..

Hawaii is the product of a gimmick offense and a weak schedule.  Texas Tech runs the same O, very pass heavy, shitloads of yards and points every game.  Mike Leach is an offensive genius, but he shouldn't be a head coach.  If Hawaii had to play OU, Texas, A&M, Kansas, Mizzou they'd be far from undefeated.
