Guitar Question

I'm seriously intrested in buying a guitar.  I'm going for a Marilyn Manson electric guitar sound and/or a soul type of Bass Guitar like on an old Barry White/Issac Hayes/Marvin Gaye sound (with that soulful low pitch bass).  And wats a good amp 2 git with it, anything under $800 would b good.  'Preciate it....

hit up the guitar center, for the brand,then serch the net and see if you can get one cheaper from someone else, yell
