In fact the holding actually gave the WR a better chance at catching it. It was thrown behind him as it was. I don't think the ball would have been catchable. Bad call in my mind.


That last catch on the two was so so close. If he knew he was going to be down he should have just thrown the ball in a pop up lateral and hope an open Raven caught it in the middle of the field.

I think the seeds are planted for the Steelers to win. They already play a similar defense as these last two teams, but they have the ability to score a lot more points. Of course how cool would it be for the 0-14 Dolphins to make NE 14-1 in 3 weeks?

But damn, what a good game that was. I seriously thought it was over for the Pats. There was a lot of flags towards the end that I wasn't sure what was gonna happen. That Hail Mary at the end for the Ravens was crazy. Talk about luck.

the only positive i can think about all these 4-7 teams giving new england scares until the 4th quarter is this; you HAVE to hit brady!. you have to run the ball and you have to wear down their line on both sides of the ball. replace the qb's in the eagles/ravens games and you don't have those combined 4/5 interceptions.

i say if the steelers are smart, which they are on defense, they'll be able to contain this high powered offense. the steelers are number 1 on the pass defense and number 2 i believe on the run. if an inbetween defense like philly can almost beat NE, and if a pretty good defense like the ravens' can quintessencially beat NE, Pittsburgh is the team to finally beat the pats. plus you got to like what the steelers are able to do on offense. when big ben and hiens ward are in sync they're as good as tom brady and randy moss. willy parker, is an assassin on then run.
keep smashing it with him and that NE defense grows tired quick, plus it ices the NE offense. also if you're watching NE you got to notice how every pass is a deep ball or cut for welker. troy buddy get healthy now and don't fuck up like ed reed did with that fumble.

Yeah I seen that report, it seems kind of strange. How big a deal would this be if the ref was white? That would be a major story.
