First Off, I Know It's Off Topic, But We've Already Ran All The Other Topics Into the Ground, So Here's A New One

If Any Of Yall Are/Were Into Nirvana, There's Been Some Interesting Stuff Happening Lately.  

Apparently, When Kurt Cobain Killed Himself In '95 (I Guess?) His Wife, Courtney Love, And Kurt Novalseck (Bassist) and Dave Grohl (Drummer) Formed A Company, Requiring A Unanimous Decision On All Things Regarding The Band.  Now Courtney's Trying To Get That Dissolved, Because She Thinks She Should Be In Charge Of The Music, That Was Mainly Her Husbands (He Wrote All The Songs, Fronted The Band, Etc.).

Apparently, There Are 120 Tapes Of Nirvana Unreleased Material (Live Shows, Songs, Demos, Etc.).  There's 4 Track Recordings From Before Their Record Deal, Live Shows In Their Entirety, Demos, And Kurt's Last Song That The Band Recorded, Called "You Know You're Right".

Courtney Has Sued Kris And Dave, Saying That She Wants That Particular Song Not Included On A Box Set They're Trying To Put Out At The End Of The Year.  She Thinks That A Record With That Song On It (I Guess It's REALLY Good) Could Sell 15 Million Copies Worldwide (Better Than Nevermind, They're First BIG Album).  She Says Her Intent Was To Get A Better Deal Through Their Music Company (Geffen Records).

Courtney Has Also Recently Sued Her Record Label, Saying That Labels Conspire Between Each Other To Sign Artists To Horrible Contracts. (For Instance, Her Band Hole She Said Is IN The Hole, After Recording Albums, They Owe The Record Company More Than They Actually MaKe On The Album, Leaving Them in The Negative).  Courtney Has Vowed To Not Release Any Of The Songs Until They Can Get A Decent Record Deal.

What Yall Think About That? Damn, I Didn't Realize Their Was That Much Unreleased Material!  That "Muddy Banks" Album They Released Was Nice, The Live Versions Were Great.

that's kinda funny cause i was the biggest nirvana fan and then it was like kurts dead and all of a sudden i kind of turned to rap, now i listen to rap, rock, and almost anything good on the radio, mainly rap. but i can't wait to get that box set, i heard about it for the first time like october of 2000 and they said it should be out by the end of 2001, can't wait, peace.

 I heard about this on TV a couple dayz ago... I dont really listen to rock music... not even NIRVANA which everyone seems to like. But I think the group deserves to have all the unreleased shit (even though they're all gay as hell [they're tha Foo Fighters aint they?])

  I mean... why should Courtney Love have the unreleased stuff.... yeah she was Kurt's wife but the music was made by the whole GROUP.... it should be there's..... I dont even know why they're arguing about it... it seems like and easy problem to solve... they made the music, they should own the music....

Courtney's Trying To Turn Into A Poster Child For Artists.  She Wants To Only Do Business With Record Companies That Adequately Support Their Artists.  She Has Good Intentions, But This Isn't Really The Right Move, Because The Fans Are Losing Out.  Ideally, Dave Grohl And Her Could Pool Their Money Together, And Release The Stuff Independently, But I Guess There's Record Contracts Floatin' Around.  If Kurt Was Alive, He'd Probably Be Fightin The Record Companies, Too.

why she have more control than dave grohl and co over music which thet helped make and she didnt?

she is suing them cos she wants to put it out on a different label and sell more.....but grohl and co are happy mto release it as it is....that shows that money aint everything to everyone. however it obviouslly is to courtney love cos she wasted all hers on crack and now she needs this release to bail out her broke ass.
