I stopped watching it after the first 3 episodes. It just didn't seem to grab my full interest. I started watching it because Shawn Ryan is the executive producer of The Unit, but the storylines were just straight-up boring to me.

24 the shit? I'd say 24 is worth shit. Seriously...everyone's got their own taste, but 24 is not what it used to be (first three seasons were pretty good). Season 5 ended here in Belgium just last week, and I gave up watching it after the 7th episode. The acting, storylines, music, you name it: it has all become way too cheesy and predictable. And throughout the series you can just smell that Fox is behind it. The show had always had some sort of patriotic twist, but it's getting out of hand. The whole "dying for my country" and sentimental B/S drips off of 24 in these last couple of seasons. But that's just me of course...I got the first three seasons on DVD, that's where it stops for me.
Good to hear you're gonna start watching The Wire though. Best show on TV, period.

@ Soulful: I watch The Wire, Entourage, Deadwood and The West Wing. Got the first season of Oz on DVD but didn't really like it all that much. Deadwood's worth the money though...

Yeah about 24, the thing is, I'm in the middle of season 2. Season 1 was classic, season 2 is looking great too but for the rest I don't know. But I can imagine it falling off, since I was completley shocked that there are 7 seasons already. I always pictured this as a 3 season type of show.

The Unit, Deadwood, Prison Break, Oz.. better than the last 4 you mentioned, imo.
And they say Dexter is dope too, think I will get the 1st season soon.
