If you havent seen the series then exit the thread as i dont want to ruin it for anyone.

Overall i was pretty dissapointed with the series as a whole, but the finale really annoyed me.

If peter petrelli could absorb others powers and it had clearly shown he had absorbed his brothers earlier on then why on earth did they have to fly off together.

Maybe im missing something but it was these type of things that really pissed me off about the whole series.

The first arc before it took a break (episodes 1-11) was brilliant. I don't know how any of that could disappoint you. It took a step down after that and finished not all that great but still it wasn't bad. Peter couldn't fly because the nuuke power was too strong for him to do anything, much less use another power. He couldn't even control that nuke power. That's why Nathan had to carry him.

hmm good point.

My main issue with the programme was the lack of suspense and also the fact that i didnt connect with the charachters.

When i say that i mean that i didnt care what happened to them, i didnt feel any sadness when they were killed.

Where as when i watch the wire, prison break, lost i feel that connection more.

It didnt help that my friends hyped this up to be the greatest show ever.

Well it certainly isn't the Wire. I've never watched Lost but I'd take Heroes over Prison Break. The first arc wasn't about suspence. It was an origin story based around character development and a bit of mystery. I don't think any major character died in the first arc.

If season one disappointed you so much, I suggest not even considering 2.
