I just got my drivers license (how do i get the "official" one?)

I just got my driver license, but its just a paper that says its my license.
How do i get the one wit the picture in the card??

When i passed my drivers test i went up to the line to get my license an everything and she got my stuff and handed me the paper (license) and she said thats it. So i left.

But then i started thinking. She never told me if ima get the official license in the mail, or if i need my pic taken or what?
Anybody know? oh and this is in Southern California.

Naw im almost 100 percent sure the lady didnt say anything about that.  I handed them my drivers test and they just gave me the license paper and i said "is that it?" and she told me "yeah thats it"  She didnt say nothing about waiting a week or two, or taking a pic.

thanks man.  everybody was trying to diss me saying that they guarantee that i wont pass.  So once i passed i just was laughing at them.

nope.  thats what ive been wondering in my head how come i didnt take one.  And everybody inlcuding my dad and brother are asking me that too.  But my brother did go to a different dmv then me.

Im guessing though that they will use my permit pic maybe....

really? yeah i dont even drive that much cuz im scared to get pulled over, and I dont even drive with a front license plate lol.

someone told me that in california you get a fine or something and cant drive till your 18 but 18 in 5 months, so i wouldnt really care but 21 years old? damn

My brother was driving wit his permit by himself and he got pulled over and they ended up impounding the car.  We had to pay almost a grand to get it out.

But the funny thing was that he was going for an appointment to get his driver license like 2 weeks later.  And he passed his test.  I think all he had to do was do because he was drving wit his permit was take some traffic classes on the internet.

Oh and this is in Southern California.

my friend was on his moms motorcycle the pigs pulled him over and he didnt have a license

they said they was gona repo it if he didnt have some one with a license take it.

so thats prolly what they do with cars
