the thing i hated about the other films were that they just killed off all the villains. as good/bad heath ledger does you gotta have the joker up in there for more than one 'round as well as catwoman and riddler.

You gotta say that the writing, acting and directing of it is also good.  I understand people's preference of Burton's Batman, but to say that the Dark Knight doesn't look half as good as that is a bit crazy.  The character development in Burton's Batman doesn't even come close to what Nolan did for Batman Begins.
