Ice Cube: On Raw Footage
« on: December 20, 2007, 11:11:47 AM »
LOL.  Gotta love his modesty.  This is what he told MTV NEWS about the record:

"It'll be out next year," then added, "It's better than anything you've ever heard before."

If Cube goes in the Gangsta Rap Made... direction in terms of content I'll be quite happy.  This may be a return to the political and social rhymes he was known for earlier in his career.  I'm expecting we'll be hearing some more about this after the new year.  Just wanted to share...Peace.

ice cube has been on a roll lately, but laugh now, cry later in my opinion was weak.  not bad, just some real watered down shit.

but with c toones, maylay, wc... he's started to get his 3rd or 4th wind.  i'm looking foward to it.

gangsta rap made me do it is one of the better new cube tracks but comes across corny at points in the song especially in some of the hook

if cube extended his vocab he'd be way better nowadays

seems like his vocab is watered down from the old days

he coulda killed that gangsta rap beat a helluva lot more if he had more syllables in his lyrics
