AZ only won one game so they didn't really deserve to go through either did they.

That said though Aberdeen went through with one win, the UEFA cup is pathetic. :grumpy:

Homie what the fuck happened to AZ? Shit, i was expecting more from your team. I'm not talking about the game vs Everton (it was pretty thought), but about the fact your team didn't qualify for the next stage in an easy group.

two strikers (Koevermans & Arveladze) left and the new strikers (Ari & Pelle) don't score. that is, I think, the main difference with last season :-\

- 3 of the most important players arveladze (levante), koevermans (psv) and de cler (feyenoord) left the club
- almost all of our players are playing like shit at the moment (too many to name, prime example being simon cziommer)
- lots of injuries (martens, schaars)
- new guys that dont play good (altho ari and poco are good)
- shit decisions in almost every match (ari red card vs zenit while we were leading 0-1... we were leading 0-1 vs nurnberg and van gaal put a right back on the left back position resulting in a 2-1 loss... 3 goals vs. everton that never shouldve went in)

dembélé plays good every match tho, just wished he scored a little more (or more shots on goal), too bad its just a matter of time before a big club buys him away from us.

if we were in this group last year we would finish first with 12 points.

wish schaars and martens were here again. martens on 10 is the best!

Well yeah, he was never been a star anyway. One of the strangest acquisition from this summer market, if you ask me.

I know we ain't exactly best buds right now or ever have been, and partially it's because you think all I care about or talk about is football.

But see when I see shit like this:

That bald headed striker should have been sent off in the first half though :P

That's when I KNOW you know so little about European/English/"Anything apart from AZ" football.

Not even knowing who that "bald headed striker" is, doesn't earn you a diss but it earns you one sad face.  :(
NO MORE WAR

You were right on point in your first sentence. I really could give a shit about the name of a striker from Everton :D
