Who would you pick up, like when you hear song and can clearly say who produced it.
I'll go with:
-Daz Dillinger
-DJ Quik
-Battlecat
-Ant Banks
-Fredwreck

Thats the problem. Everyone still on Dres nuts. Not talking about people here, but like the whole industry. Dre is the only West Coast producer they know of outside West. But he hardly work with any WC artists anymore. Game proved he didn't need Dre. Bishop Lamont....well no offence, but Nothing ever drops from Aftermath....

West Coast have many top notch producers, who can match it with anyone else out there, that aren't really recognized outside of Cali.

Battlecat probably the most under-rated...
DJ Quik
Soopafly (or Daz and Soopafly)
Fingazz (dudes crazzy)
Fedwreck
Jelly Roll (like him or not, dudes got the sound for the future)
Terrace Martin

I mean I could be hear all day posting how many dope producer westcaost has, that are under-rated. Even the bigger picture all the TALENT period is under-rated.

Thats why I get upset how a producer like Swizz Beats is all of a sudden this big producer, when his shit sounds terribble MOST of the time. (excluding Bustas - Touch it, Styles P - Who got a probelm, and handful of Ruff Ryder beats, his shits are trash....Eve - Tambourine, Cassidy and Styles new track...shits are garbage).

^ Yeah Big Saccs is a great producer. Rick Rock, J-Steez and Josef Leimberg made some CLASSIC beats this year. Daz, Battle cat and Fredwreck need to step up their game for the west coast. They need to be back on top. Quik is a total disaster IMO. Those beats he did with AMG were embarrassingly bad.

Also, the guy who produced WC's album is a great producer!!!

Yea man.. Teak and Dee from Hallway Productions are sick.. they did a lot on WC's record and would guess they'll play a nice roll on Cube's new album.
