Cruz has 4 classic mixtape. 2 that have been must have mixtapes on scratch magazine yet I don't think he get's the respect he deserves from the west coast. I think it's due to Cruz being latino. If he was black & he would be one of the biggest artist from the west right now. Just my opinion.

I feel u on that homie i was thinking the exact same thing after i downloaded those mixtapes yesterday and was listening to them, its sucks man cause this fool can spit and im not saying that because im mexican cause aye there are alot of wack ass latino fools out there rappin, but some dope ones too like Mr Criminal and O Cruz, people think that all latino rap is lil rob or mr criminal who say the same shit all the time n then try to sell out to fit into everything, i hope cruz gets his time like he deserves cause hes one of the doppest on the West right now.

man i remember when Omar Cruz was on the front page of Dubcnn.com  and he had that one song "city of gods" from his first mixtape.......

I was just like damn this guy is dope.  And i downloaded his first mixtape and i thought it was dope.

Then a couple months went by and i thought he was long gone and nothing happened wit him.  Then his next mixtape came out and then look where hes at now.

A couple years later after his first mixtape and now hes signed to interscope geffen, hes made songs with Game, he just released his video, and is now about to release the album.

Damn it feels like its been long, but its only been like 2-3 years.
