Did Ice Cube change his lyrics to respect his wife?

Ice Cube’s wife name is Kim.
 
In the song “Today Was a Good Day” he mentions a woman named Kim.

“…Had to stop at a red light
Looking in my mirror not a jacker in sight
And everything is alright
I got a beep from Kim and she can fuck all night…”

But when I hear Cube perform the song live he and WC sing “…I got a beep from her and she can fuck all night…”

One of 3 things happened.

1.   Ice Cube is talking about another Kim.
2.   He changed the song lyrics in the live performance because he is married to “Kim”.
3.   “Kim” is a fictitious character/name and he just happen to marry someone named “Kim”

i would say live he may just point to some random chick in the audience and say "her" just to involve the audience a little bit the way good live performers do.....other than that it must be out of respect

Well, I read in an interview that the kim he mentions in that line, is actually the woman he ended up marrying. Ill see if i can find the interview. And the reason he changes it live, is because he points at some random female and goes " _she_ can fuck aaaall night" , to interact with the crowd
