D-12 to sell 400,000 #1 album based on first day

I got this from DJ Skee on another message board...

D12's new LP Devils Night will debut at #1 on next weeks charts, with approx. 400,000 units moved in the first week base on first day sales. Interscope put 1.5 million on the street so it should not be hard to get your hands on. It is a deep album expected to be more than a 1 week phenom, with momentum starting to build.

The next single will be decided by what early indicators from stations like Power 106 and other "tastemaker" radio stations get huge feedback from based on what the audience is feeling.

Got it on the wire from industry only news.....

It's 400,000 in the first week.  They took the first day's sales and projected 400,000 for the first week.  I was hoping for 500,000 but it's cool.  They sold 100,000 more than the Slim Shady LP sold in it's first week, and "My Name Is" was blowing up all over the place.  For them to sell 400,000 without the help of MTV is good news.

Well at least it wasn't a major let down. 400,000 is very good. Alot of people I know haven't even bought it yet.

ok let me say this, this town is HARDCORE Eminem fanatics, of about 15 of my homies that love eminem, only ONE of them has the cd... the other's just don't have the money right now, including me... but once they get the money their gonna buy it...

400,000 is good, but i was sorta expecting a little more from a project with Em's name on it...

i bet it is gonna sell about 500,000 to 700,000 the first week because it is understandable for first day sales to be slow. people buy it and tell their friends so they go out and but it a couple days later, peace.

I 'm guessing within a month this cd will go atleast Double platnium!!  
the more i listen to this cd the more i feel it.   I'm fuckin impressed, this shit is tight as fuck.  Better then M.M.L.P. for sho.  and All Dre's production is fantastic and every track is fuckin tight. it's just a bomb ass fuckin shit....   Love it...  (even more then DPG cd)

Yeah your right. I listened to the album another 10 or 20 times and I like every track on it. Its tied with Bizzy Bones album in my opion for best album to come out this year.

Em and D12 were on BET Rap City yesterday....and they always at the end of the show......ask the artist to do a freestyle about BET...so u know its original.....D12 and Em Ripped it up!

Pure Skillz....

and this is one of the best albums to come out.......

I like the Fight Music song..produced by dr.dre...

Em said something like.....you dont even need to look at who produced it cause u already know

em puts thoughts into his lyrics...which half these rappers out here dont.......and his D12 Crew held it down.......

Perfect Graduation album for Em after learning from the good Doc..........

When Dre has put in work to help his artist....they all become succesful...........

well i know that obie trice will release a cd in the near future on shady records and i heard that proof is going to release a cd in the future called dirty harry or some shit like that, but i hope all them release cds, i want to keep hearing more from eminems boys, peace.
